Idaho supports Israel coalition to host peaceful rally at capitol

This Sunday, the Idaho Supports Israel Coalition will host the Idaho Stands with Israel Rally before the capitol building. The rally begins at 3 p.m., and Ada County Highway District says Jefferson from 6th to 8th Street and Capitol Boulevard from Jefferson to Bannock will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The coalition says they are standing with their brothers and sisters in Israel to reject terrorism and support Israel's right to defend themselves. They will be calling for the release of the hostages and saying no to antisemitism. According to a video posted about the coalition, Governor Little will be speaking, as well as Congressman Russ Fulcher.

The coalition would also like to remind those who are going to participate that this will be a peaceful event, and no violent rhetoric will be allowed.
